Graeme Stephen Sextet featuring Ben Davis

Graeme Stephen Septet tune up tour 2010- The Graeme Stephen septet features some of the most creative and in demand musicans on the UK folk and Jazz scenes. The music draws on all these influences creating an eclectic mix of styles from Folk, Jazz and classical.

The performance will include the suite “Vantage-Points” inspired by locations throughout Scotland. The group is Graeme Stephen – Guitar, Ben Davis ( of mercury nominees Basquiat Strings)- Cello, Chris Stout- Violin, Fraser Fifield- Soprano Sax/Kaval, Phil Bancroft – Tenor Saxophone, Mario Caribe- Double Bass, and Scottish Jazz Drummer of the year Stuart Ritchie.

Graeme Stephen has been described as one of the most creative musicians in the UK and has won various awards including the Jazz Services Promoters Choice Award and was chosen for the Serious/PRS Take 5 initiative in 2008.
